Established in 2022, Mullies Marine began its journey on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula before relocating to Cranbourne West in 2024. The move brought us closer to Melbourne’s major marine market and provided the foundation to build a larger, more capable dealership.
2025 marked a major milestone in the growth of Mullies Marine. We secured the Yamaha franchise, becoming an authorised Yamaha Outboard and WaveRunner dealer and service centre, while also securing the factory next door to our showroom. This allowed us to establish our dedicated workshop and genuine spare parts department, bringing together new boat sales, Yamaha products, servicing, repairs, rigging, electronics and genuine parts under one roof.
Today, we are proud to represent some of the most respected names in boating, including Yamaha Outboards, Yamaha WaveRunners and genuine Yamaha spare parts, Haines Hunter, Formosa Boats and Italboats.

Meet Rino Prebanda
General Manager
With more than 25 years of experience in the marine industry, Rino brings a wealth of knowledge, technical expertise and hands-on experience to the Mullies Marine team.
Rino commenced his marine apprenticeship in 1998 at 21st Century Marine before joining JV Marine in 2001. He spent 14 years working as a Marine Technician before progressing into the role of Service Manager, a position he held from 2015 to 2019.
From 2019 to 2023, Rino was the Manager at Cobalt Boats, further developing his experience across marine sales, service and dealership operations.
Rino joined Mullies Marine as General Manager in 2023 and plays a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business, while bringing his extensive technical and industry knowledge to the team and our customers.
Outside of work, Rino enjoys getting out on the water, fishing and day boating with his wife and two children.

Meet Dave Standing
Sales & Marketing
Dave brings a unique combination of engineering experience, marine knowledge and more than 20 years of involvement in the fishing media industry to Mullies Marine.
Dave completed his Fitting & Turning apprenticeship at ACES Earthmoving Equipment Sales between 2012 and 2015 before continuing his career in the engineering industry. In 2023, he joined the Mullies Marine team in a Sales & Marketing role, combining his technical background with his passion for boating, fishing and media.
Dave has been involved in the fishing media industry since the age of 17, initially writing for fishing magazines before moving into television and YouTube with YouFish TV. He now hosts his own fishing podcast and YouTube channel, Wind Against Tide, where he shares fishing stories, experiences and knowledge with fellow anglers.
Dave has been around boats from a young age and has a lifelong passion for fishing and spending time on the water. This firsthand experience gives him a genuine understanding of what customers are looking for when choosing the right boat, outboard and overall package.

Meet Paul Cockman
Spare Parts & Accessories
Paul brings almost four decades of experience in the marine industry to the Mullies Marine team, with an extensive background in spare parts and accessories.
Paul began his marine career in 1986 at Dandy Power Marine, working in spare parts and accessories. He then spent several years at Sandown Marine before moving to JV Marine, where he continued working in spare parts.
After a period working as an interstate truck driver, Paul returned to the marine industry in 2009, joining Cranbourne Boating in spare parts and accessories. He remained there until 2026, building an extensive knowledge of marine products, parts and accessories along the way.
Paul has now joined the team at Mullies Marine, bringing with him a wealth of industry experience and product knowledge. His decades of experience make him a valuable resource for helping customers find the right parts, accessories and solutions for their boats.

Meet Daniel Smith
Marine Technician
At just 22 years old, Daniel is one of the young guns of the Mullies Marine workshop, bringing experience and technical knowledge well beyond his years.
Daniel began his marine career at Cranbourne Boating in 2020, where he spent five years developing his skills and gaining valuable hands-on experience. In 2025, he moved to Applied Marine Inboards before joining the Mullies Marine team in 2026.
Daniel has quickly built a reputation for his attention to detail, willingness to learn and strong technical ability. His passion for the marine industry and hands-on approach make him a valuable part of the Mullies Marine workshop team.
Away from the workshop, Daniel's passion for performance continues, with car racing being one of his favourite hobbies.
